The Conversation will take place at the premises of International Forum Bosnia in Sarajevo (Sime Milutinovića 10, Centar), on Monday, September 2, to start at 19:00 hrs.
The conversation will mark the publication of a ground-breaking new volume of essays by leading Muslim and Christian theologians from around Europe, Green Theology, Emerging 21st-Century Muslim and Christian Discourses on Ecology, edited by Lejla Demiri, Mujadad Zaman and Tim Winter, and published by Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen, as part of their Sapientia Islamicaseries. The volume is the fruit of a conference organised jointly by the University of Cambridge, the University of Tübingen, and the University of St Andrews, held at Cambridge in 2019 that brought together leading Islamic and Christian theologians to discuss the emerging topic of 21stCentury Islamic and Christian green theologies for the first time.
