REPORT ON NINTH SARAJEVO UN WORLD INTERFAITH HARMONY WEEK
February 1–7, 2021
Each year the International Forum Bosnia’s Centre for Interfaith Dialogue celebrates the UN interfaith harmony week with a series of events in the form of lectures, concerts, exhibitions and book launches. The Forum was the first organization to launch the UN interfaith harmony week in Bosnia. For its efforts and work in promoting the UN interfaith harmony week the Forum was honoured with Second Place in the King Abdullah of Jordan Prize in 2017.
This year, for the ninth year in a row, the International Forum Bosnia has marked the UN interfaith harmony week February 1–7, 2021. Due to restrictions imposed by the pandemic, this year the program was organized as a series of Zoom round tables with participation from eminent scholars, faith leaders, artists and journalists from Bosnia and abroad. The events were open to the media and the general public. Each round table centred on a particular theme during which presents spoke for up to 15 minutes followed by discussion. The entire program has been recorded and, after editing, it will be made available to the public.
