Third International conference on Sarajevo and the world

GENERAL PROGRAMME
International Forum Bosnia and the Old Town municipality in Sarajevo will be hosting the Third International Conference on Sarajevo and the world from the 4th to the 12th of May, 2017. The programme is part of a series of events to mark the Sarajevo Old Town municipal day. The conference programme includes the following:
4 May (Thursday), 2017.
A public discussion on SARAJEVO AND BOSNIA IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF ESAD ZGODIĆ
Senadin Lavić will present the philosophical work of Esad Zgodić followed by a conversation with the author. Jasmin Hasanović will read selections from the works. Nerin Dizdar will chair the event.

5 May (Friday), 2017.
A public presentation of SARAJEVO AND BOSNIA IN THE POETRY OF ASMIR KUJOVIĆ
Nehrudin Rebihić will present the poet Asmir Kujović, followed by a conversation with the author. The poet will read selections from his works. Hatidža Nuhić will chair the event.

The THIRD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SARAJEVO AND THE WORLD
This symposium will take place around three panels: a) Sarajevo and religious plurality; b) Sarajevo's past and future, and c) Society, politics and development in Sarajevo.

A public presentation of SARAJEVO AND BOSNIA IN THE FILMS OF PJER ŽALICA
Srđan Vuletić will present the works of Pjer Žalica, followed by a conversation with the filmmaker. Hatidža Nuhić will chair the event.

10 May (Wednesday), 2017.
A public discussion on JUSTICE AND THE ETHICS OF REMEMBRANCE IN BOSNIA: with a showing of the film Nuremberg - Its Lesson for Today
The discussion will be between Edina Bećirević, Sonja Biserko and Srđan Šušnica and chaired by Fatima Mahmutćehajić.

15 May (Monday), 2017.
An evening with the Pontanima Choir: MUSICA SACRA BOSNAE
